HR2U connects Human Resource Management with Information Technology through HR software. It involves a variety of functions such as Human Resource Planning, Staff Recruitment and Placement, Validation in Service, Service Management, Remuneration Management, Welfare and Staff Facilities, Medical, Career Development, Leaving Services Management, Re-Placement Plan, Integrity, Psychology Management, HR and System Analysis Payroll.

HR2U plays a strategic role in managing Human Resource needs in UiTM as well as helping to revolutionize a more productive environment.

The first module that has been developed is the preparation of the Annual Work Target (AWT) online for the evaluation of the Annual Performance Assessment Report. This module is one of the sub modules in the Service Management Module. Accordingly, all administrative staff of the Top Management Group (Special Grade), the Management and Professional Group and the Supporting Group must complete AWT for 2018 through online.

The University Management Board (LPU) has approved the adoption of Service Letter No. 2 of 2009 on the Strengthening of the Management of Public Service Officers Performance Assessment System through the Circular of Registrar No. 43/2009 dated 24 July 2009.

All PTJs and Staffs of the University are obliged to set Annual Work Targets (AWT) at the beginning of each year. This SKT stipulation is aimed at determining the direction, goals and objectives of the organization in addition to ensuring an effective working system for achieving the AWT set for the year.

The UiTM Human Resources Council (MSM) at the 16th Meeting has agreed on the proposed improvement of the annual online performance appraisal method for Administrative Staff and the recommendation of OPAL System Integration for Academic through HR2U SYSTEM. The system has been developed and ready to be used for the LNPT Module.

Therefore, all UiTM staff (Administration staff) are required to fill AWT each beginning of the year from 2018 using the HR2U System to replace the manual.
